It is important for East Riverside residents to participate in this series of meetings. The update to the East Riverside Corridor Plan will determine the height of buildings in the corridor. The ERC has been expanded to include some adjacent residential neighborhoods. This series of meetings will also involve planning for the large city development at the intersection of Grove and Riverside Drive. This development will be an opportunity to get more parks, recreational facilities, community meeting space, and affordable owner-occupied housing in the East Riverside area. More information on the ERC update is available at this website:

The City of Austin invites you to participate in a Focus Group to help us better understand the needs and priorities of you and other stakeholders regarding the East Riverside Corridor Planning Initiative.

The purpose of the East Riverside Corridor Planning Initiative is to guide the growth and redevelopment of the East Riverside Corridor and to ensure that future changes in the corridor benefit everyone who lives, works, and plays along the corridor. This planning initiative update will ensure that the current and future needs of the community are accounted for, and the City can facilitate public and private investments in the corridor area.

Your perspective and feedback will help us ensure we're building something that truly meets the community’s needs.

I was thinking about going to the in-person open house, Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10 am to 1 pm at 2400 Grove Boulevard.

It looks like 2400 Grove Blvd is Tokyo Electron. I've never been there before. Do we know where this meeting is going to take place - in the parking lot? A specific building or rooms? Am I missing something?

Thanks,
Dan

I have attached a map that shows the entrance we will use to enter. This entrance is on Grove Blvd. north of the entrance to the AE Control Center that is near the intersection of Grove and Montopolis. The building for the open house is behind the AE complex. I have asked for more specific directions to enter the building, and I will post these directions when I receive them.
