Hi Zen,
For this type of technical question, it is best to ask on the EPrints Tech List (see details here:
https://wiki.eprints.org/w/Contact).
This page: https://wiki.eprints.org/w/Upgrading_3.3.12%2B_to_3.4 is the best guide for upgrading.
If you've gone through all the steps listed in the above, I would check:
- are you being redirected between http and https
- what URL format is your repository using (the old standard was e.g. https://example.org/1234/ The new standard is https://example.org/id/eprint/1234/ . What format are the broken links in? This should work OK and be handled properly.
- Can the webserver (apache) write to the directory [EPRINTS_ROOT]/archives/[ARCHIVE_ID]/html/[LANGUAGE]/archive/ ?
There should be a page in the above directory for each live eprint. For the English landing page for EPrint number 1234, the file would be: [EPRINTS_ROOT]/archives/[ARCHIVEID]/html/en/archive/00/00/12/34/index.html
Hopefully that starts to help!
Cheers,
John
