Never saw anything like it in the NYTimes since I started reading it 60+ years ago.
Notable for a) almost no Israeli voices "balancing" Palestinian ones; b) no explanation whatsoever for why Israel perpetraes these monstrous acts of cruelty.

Absolutely, that and the NYT Nadler essay calling for Palestinian self determination and trashing nethanyahu.

They even asked for some recollections from Halfbinger who left several months ago to be replaced by a British hack Kingsley.

Kingsley wrote an excellent and details piece (citing mainly Arab sources) several days ago tearing apart most of the false Israeli claims regarding events in Jerusalem leading up to the conflagration of two weeks ago, including the detail that it started when the Israelis cut the cables to the minarets at the Haram because Rivlin wanted to give a speech and did not want to be bothered by the azan.
