(Couple of teachers have asked how they can open the attachment. Please open it  with the LibreOffice Sarvajanika tantramsha). LibreOffice is available as part of Ubuntu GNU/Linux - it can be installed from the 'Kalpavriksha Ubuntu GNU/Linux DVD available with the STF MRP teachers and the DIET Nodal officers.  LibreOffice can also be downloaded on Windows (https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/)

Thanks for this presentation.  I have always followed Dr Anandan's thinking with interest after going through his book "From Tuition to Intuition".

Today's Vijayavani carries a nice article on the problems of teaching Kannada in Karnataka.  It says we have resorted to teach Kannada as we teach English. He says Kannada teaching should have a methodology evolved based on the nature of the language and process of knowledge generation in Kannada.  I am giving the link here.  It could probably shared.
