With regard to the question on degrees of comparison,, should we delop only the comparative degree? Why can't we give them two fugues of eqal size and make them write a sentence using positive degree or giving three figures and make them write a sentence using superlative degree?

I agree with u James sir...we are diluting everything only for the sake of exam and diverting from the main aim of facilitating the learning of the language.
