Who are we?? (Community of Practice ಅಭ್ಯಾಸದ ಸಮುದಾಯ)

ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೆ ,

The "Subject Teacher Forum" is a RMSA-DSERT teacher training program. It also is the mailing group, where all member teachers share ideas, experiences, resources and 'talk to one another'.

Such a forum or space is called a 'Community of Practice' or COP   (ಅಭ್ಯಾಸದ ಸಮುದಾಯ?).  I am sharing a short article on COP. I hope all teachers will read it and share their own feedback on whether the STF groups are playing the role of COP.

The article says that COP will provide following types of support to members -
Problem  solving  
Requests  for information      
Seeking experience
Reusing resources
Coordination and  synergy      
Building  an  argument      
Growing confidence      
Discussing  developments      
Documenting  projects      
Visits
Mapping  knowledge  and identifying gaps      

Do you see such support in the STF also? Please share your opinion and feedback.
