Hi,

EncryptPad looks to be the best secure notepad application.

Can you please implement the option to encrypt/decrypt in ASCII/Base64?
(like the --armor option in GPG)?

Thanks.

Hi Waseem,

Although it hasn't been high priority, this feature is on the roadmap. See the issue link here: https://github.com/evpo/EncryptPad/issues/9

A lot of people ask for it.

Cheers,
Evgeny

Waseem,

Should you wish to convert an asc file to gpg, you can invoke the command below in command line:

gpg --dearmor -o file_encryptpad_can_read.gpg file_encryptpad_cannot_read.asc

gpg4win has to be installed and you can specify the full path to gpg.exe if it's not found in the environment. The passphrase is not required for this command to work.

Hope it helps

Cheers,
Evgeny
