Not critical, but it's bugging me for a little while so I guess asking here can't hurt :)

I noticed that the Emscripten SDK since the last few version, and at least on macOS, sets the executable flag on the generated WASM files. I guess that's what clang does for all "executable targets". Is this a bug, or supposed to be a feature which usefulness I haven't discovered yet? :)

Cheers,
-Floh.

I think wasm-ld has always produced executable output, but that emscripten recently changed to more directly deliver the output wasm-ld, rather than copying the output file from a tmp directory (which could have previously caused it to lose the exec bit).
