I'm thinking of going through old branches/PRs/issues and closing any
anything that hasn't seen any activity in a certain amount of time.

Does any object to anything without activity in, say, the last 2
years, being speculatively closed out? PRs and issues can obviously
be re-opened. Branches (without PRs) are harder to restore so I
might check in with individuals first.

Thoughts?

cheers,
sam

Sounds great to me. I can't imagine that anything more than two years old could still be useful. And whoever cares about an old branch probably still has it sitting around locally.

+1

I was doing this for PRs, trying to do 3 a day, but I failed to keep it up...

Maybe we could set up a bot to do this?
