Error when updating to 1.39.0 from 1.38.48

Hi everyone,

We are trying to update our emscripten from 1.38.x. The code builds just fine with all the versions of 1.38.xx but when I tried to update to 1.39.0 or 1.39.5 it fails with the following error message 

">> LLVM ERROR: malformed uleb128, extends past end"

Any idea on how to fix this?

Can you post some more information?  Perhaps the full failing command line along with the output from the command line (preferably with "EMCC_DEBUG=1" set).

From the error you provided I can take a guess that maybe its an invalid object file being passed to the linker?   Have you tried a fully clean build?  Are your trying to link in object files build with a different version of llvm perhaps?
