Security Notification: Alarming Incidents on 3/11/26 and 3/12/26 Between 2:15 am and 3:00 am

Neighbors,

 Between 2:20 am and 3:00 am on 3/11/26 and 3/12/26, there were alarming activities that occurred between my house and Kevin Strange’s house on Westmoorland Lane.

On 3/10/26, someone allegedly stole 2 brown blankets that I ordered from Amazon.  While I was attempting to find out whether someone stole my blankets on 3/11/2026 at around 2:20 am a SUV parked between my house and Kevin’s house. I could tell that someone was sitting in the car with the motor running. I continued watching and saw 1 or 2 other individuals walking from the direction of the cul-de-sac.  They walked to the car and got in. 

Kevin’s sister Adrienne told me that this morning around 2:15 am she heard a noise outside on the garage side of the house and saw a SUV parked with the motor running.   She lifted the garage door and they drove away.  Adrienne told me about the incident so I reviewed the footage for 2:15 am, I learned that the SUV that Adrienne saw was the same SUV that I saw the morning before around the same time (2:15 am).  I saw a man get out of the car and walk through my yard. It appeared that he was headed to my front door.  I kept watching the footage and saw the same man along with another individual, they walked to the car and got in.

Adrienne told me that the incident terrified her.  She was afraid that those people were going to attempt to break in.  After watching the footage and seeing a man walking through my yard towards my front door at 2:15 am I became very concerned and I felt violated.  Since the gate is open, we really don’t feel safe. 

Please ensure that your doors remain locked at all times and if you have guns make sure that they are loaded.

I have attached footage from the incident that happened this morning.  

The time stamp on the footage says 3:20 am because I had not adjusted the time from the recent time change.

Hi Rick, 

Thanks for alerting us !  My dog kept waking me up for the past 2 weeks between 2 - 4 AM. I thought he was going out to pee. But , no wonder he smelled something.

Yes , We need the gate to be fixed once for all so we all will feel safe !

Thanks Rick for the screenshots, I have been able to view the video and it makes it even more alarming to see people walking around and not just the picture. 

But I am in agreement this needs to be resolved. I have been saying it was a security issue and now we have proof. 

If anyone else has a ring camera facing that intersection near mine or Rick's it would be great if you could pull and share. Thursday morning 3-13 around 2:12. 

I would really like for the county to explain why the gate cant be closed since it was not an issue for all the years prior. This is paperwork and voting, not an access emergency services issue. Even Amazon, Fed Ex and other vendors have been able to get it in while the gate was closed.
