Dear Ravenswood BOD's and Kyle,I wanted to bring to your attention that our current rates for trash pickup with Red Oak Sanitation have recently increased. I also learned that a nearby subdivision of similar size has successfully negotiated a rate of $20/month for both trash and recycling services by managing it through their HOA.Given this, I’d like to request that we explore the possibility of bringing trash pickup under our HOA as well. This could potentially offer cost savings and added convenience for our residents.
Please look into this option and let us know the next steps to move forward.

Thank you for your response.
If I understand correctly, the HOA management company should be able to assist us with any legal or attorney support needed during this process. While I’m not entirely sure how all of that works, I plan to request our Board of Directors to look into the feasibility of bringing trash pickup under HOA management and initiate the process.
Once we have a proposal in place, if a community vote is required, I believe we’ll have strong support from our neighbors—especially given the potential for significant cost savings for everyone.
