Nest Egg ID?

Debby,
It appears in the photo than none are broken open or even cracked. Is that the case? If so, it would tend to rule out a predator. With all the wind we’ve had is it possible an overhead nest was displaced and dumped the eggs in the process?
An unusual find, to be sure.

Debby, you trickster you. Someone with a more discerning eye and not fooled by the blue tint (did you Photoshop it to accomplish that?) pointed out those might be…golf balls. For someone who grew up on a golf course and spent countless hours scrounging the roughs and out-of-bounds for golf balls, you’d think I wouldn’t be so easily deceived. Context, I guess…plus I forgot about your sly sense of humor!
