Hi,

Has anyone done any experimentation with the GTK backend called 'broadway' ?

Basically, it enables any GTK based application, via HTML5, Javascript and WebSockets, to display it's widgets and dialogs
in a browser window, via an intermediate daemon 'broadwayd'.

It doesn't work with my first Eiffel [existing] program, as that is only linked to libgdk-x11.so.

The YouTube demonstration works with gedit and evince, both GTK applications ...

Regards,

Howard

Hi Howard,

In the past I tried with a Vision2 application and broadway, and it was working fine.
I don't remember the details, and how to achieve it, but I confirm there is no reason why it would not work with any Vision2 application.
