Hello All,

I want to use GRUB to call efibootguard as a staged way.  Is it possible to call efibootguard over GRUB? Do you have any experience for this use case? Thanks.

I suppose grub-efi can also start efi binaries, and that's what ebg is.

Why would you like to do that? What feature do you need from grub, what from
ebg? Managing such a the boot chain will not become easier by extending it.

I am working on it for the test automation. Currently, I have encrypted disk which is booted from ebg and I have on alive usb stick which is used for flashing new image to disk and boot to new freshly image. So, I have GRUB installed on USB stick and want to boot disk which has EBG over GRUB.

Try the chainloader command from grub on that. It seems to work with all
supported image formats, including efi (provided you use grub-efi). But this is
a grub topic, nothing ebg-specific.
