Hi

To avoid patches in https://github.com/siemens/meta-efibootguard (for
the new Yocto LTS version 3.5 Kirkstone), I would like to request a new
release. Would anything stand in the way of this?

There was a request to improve compatibility with splash screens [1],
but I'm still waiting for concrete follow-ups on my suggestions and
questions. Srikanth, any news there?

Other than that - and that topic is likely not a blocker -, there should
be nothing pending. Quirin, I don't think we have further backlogs
regarding Debian packaging, do we?

We have currently no backlog from Debian Packaging.

Srikanth is out of the office but his team found the issue not to be
caused by efibootguard but by Isar/wic not using the latest initrd when
the EFI image to be loaded by efibootguard is prepared. Vijay has
recently posted a RFC patch (which I haven't checked yet):

Ah, and I was suspecting our clear-screen change caused this. Thanks for
clarifying!

Yes, just giving those recent bug fixes (and that simple cleanup) some
time to settle. Testing welcome.
