Feature suggestion - course content search

Hello

I'm new to edX and I don't found a way to search course content. I mean search on course page which returns references to related learning materials (course videos, problems, etc). I think that this feature will be useful for many learners.

If this feature may be valuable for edX, I would like to discuss it and take part in it's developing.

Have you enabled ENABLE_COURSEWARE_SEARCH in the FEATURES section of lms.env.json?

Thanks! I didn't noticed it.

Interesting, why some courses don't use this feature? And why it set to FALSE by default?

One thing you will discover is that only works for courses that are opened.

Another thing is that sometimes you will also need to reindex the course in Studio.
