Multi sites

I'm starting with Open edX Ginkgo and I don´t understand how to configure the multiple sites that appear here: http://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/edx-installing-configuring-and-running/en/latest/configuration/sites/index.html
Can anyone explain this for me please??

This may now be out-of-date (from 2015), but this is the last known documentation for creating microsites:

Thank you for the answer, but i steel don´t understand how this feature works.
I'm searching but I can´t find much information about multiple sites for edX.
