With which named-relase(Open edX) program service was published

Hi,
Though i know program service is now being deprecated from ficus and will not be there from gingko releases.Can someone please point me out the release notes for it, as i could not track with release program service is actually published.
Also is it usable still if yes how? any precise documentation for it.

Anand,

The Programs Service was never formally released. The Discovery Service has taken the place of that service and is available in Ginkgo.
