Hi,

I am installing open edX on window 10 and following steps mentioned in below pdf:

is there any nfs (network file system) client for window 10?

Software Prerequisites
Devstack, fullstack, and analytics devstack require the following software.

• VirtualBox 4.3.12 or later.
• Vagrant 1.6.5 or later.
• An NFS (network file system) client, if your operating system does not include one. NFS allows devstack and fullstack virtual machines to share a common file system with host computers.

I have downloaded VirtualBox and Vagrant on my local. Also i need to run the NFS client, do we have any specific nfs client for window 10? or only we need to enabled it in Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features\Services for NFS ?

Regards,
Kapil

Hello.

NFS is kind of native-avaiable in Win 10 Enterprise and Pro (since one of recent updates). Just enabling it should be enough. But still NFS in Win gives a little advantages over VBoxFS.
