Not able to enrol to a course

Hi,

Suddenly, our students are not able to enrol to any course,getting "504 Gateway Time-out, nginx/1.14.1"

Nor am I able to enrol them from the membership tab, getting "error in enrolling/unenrolling user(s)".

We are using Gingko, and also have an android app. Through app, enrolment is giving "we could not enrol you in this course at this time".

Any idea why is this happening? I have very limited knowledge on openEdx.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

We can't help you blindly.

In order to help you would need to have access to the machine where your openedx is deployed and to share the log at /edx/apps/edx/var/log/lms/edx.log.

That file will contain an instance of whatever it is your students are doing and why it is currently failing explaining the error.
