Hi,

Can we install open Edx on Window 10 also, or is there any limitation for operating system or window version?

I got a below URL for edx installation on window 7, is there any doc for Edx installtion on window 10 or we have to follow the same?

Also i got below URL/doc for open edx installtion, do we need to follow the same for window 10?

Thanks,
Kapil Tyagi

Open edX is only supported on Ubuntu.  You can install on Windows using Virtualbox (or other virtualization).  In the past, devstack has not worked because Virtualbox shared filesystems didn't support symlinks properly.  A native install in Virtualbox might work?

Thanks Ned for reply.

I am new in Edx, I want to install open edX on my local workstation using window 10 OS.
For that i am using below doc for installing devStack using Virtualbox.

Can you please share any URL of doc which i can follow to install the same, also which version of VertualBox and Vagrant would be compatible with window10.?
and what does it means "A native install in Virtualbox might work?"

Thanks,
Kapil
