Hello all,

I am interested in taking most of the CS courses available on edx, however I have a few questions regarding the correct path to take.

So I am in 6.00.1x to learn Python right now, and will be taking 6.00.2x after I finish the first part.  I will also be taking the Comp Structures (6.004) and Circuitry courses (6.002).

My question is:  I believe it is recommended that I take 6.002 first, but I am trying to keep a good schedule with these classes so I can finish as soon as possible.  Now the 6.002 classes are self-paced and open until May 2017 so that will fit into my schedule alot better, obviously, because I can take them whenever I want.  However, the 6.004 classes are scheduled starting next week and all three versions are on a strict schedule/deadline.

For those that are familiar with these courses and have taken at least the intros of each, would I be highly discouraged to take 6.004 before 6.002, or even concurrently?  And for what reasons if so?

Thanks in advance!

Christopher,

Sorry, but this list is about the software that powers edx.org.  We won't know the answers to your questions.  You should try asking at http://support.edx.org
