Hi All,

I have a few courses with prerequisite courses set where you can't take the course without having taken the required course before it.

When is a course considered complete though? Currently, I can run through the required course and answer all quizzes/ tests but it's still not considered complete because I can't start the next course.  Is completing a course require an end date?

My intention is to have courses that are always available. I want to, however, require a certain order of courses to be taken.

I'm using the dogwood release.
Thanks!

Hi,

I think you need run this command

  • create a final grade and generate a certificate for a single user - sudo -u www-data /edx/bin/python.edxapp ./manage.py lms --settings aws regenerate_user -u ho...@example.com -c edX/Open_DemoX/edx_demo_course

Hi,
The course is counted as complete when the user gets a certificate.
I hope it helps.

ps. if you need assistance with certificates configuration, please let me know internally.

all best.
