Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the default behavior of Open edX, after the user fails to login or register the first time, the submit button is disabled.

Is there anything I need to do to change this?

Thanks,

Hi Trinh,

Unfortunately, this is a bug in the default login/registration form, which is also used by default when you have a custom theme.

However, if you enable the feature flag ENABLE_COMBINED_LOGIN_REGISTRATION, then you'll start using the new and improved login/registration form, which does not have this problem.

If you're using a custom comprehensive theme, you need to set it as a Site Configuration flag in the Django Admin.

But if you're not using a custom theme, you can just set it in your /edx/app/edxapp/lms.env.json file, under the FEATURES list.

Cheers,

Are you using the bitnami image, devstack, native install?

The bitnami image is an older version, so I would recommend doing a native install instead. I noticed the issue you mention on the bitnami image, but it's not there on ginkgo.1 native installation.

Hi,

No, I'm not running a bitnami instance. I'm using a ginkgo.1 native instance. But it's exactly like Jill said, it's my custom theme. I fixed the login button issue by adding the ENABLE_COMBINED_LOGIN_REGISTRATION feature flag to lms.env.json.

Cheers,
