Courses in studio based on site/staff

Hello,

Openedx can be configured per site. Means, you can add sites configuration and show courses in lms per site based on the configuration.

But as of now, all the courses from all sites are being listed in studio.

Also, staff from one site can add unwanted course with the organization name of another site in same instance. And that unwanted course will appear in this site even though not added by the correct site staff.

I am assuming I am missing something that allows this functionality. What is that ? Or if I wanted this functionality, should I modify code to support different courses in both lms/studio based on site ?

The user should only see courses in Studio for which they are an author. Maybe you've given these users the global staff permission which means they can see all of the courses?

Are you looking for some kind of microsite author permission that would assign a permission that would allow a user to view all courses in Studio that belong to their microsite?

Yeah, I made him global staff. What is the correct way ?

Grant him author permissions within Studio: Settings->Course Team->New Team Member
