Announcing Open edX remote meetups

Hello Open edX community!

We love our local Open edX meetups, but we know that many of you live too far away to attend them.  That's why we're starting a monthly remote meetup that anyone can join.

We're going to start by having our meetups in Slack, in the #remotemeetup channel.  Speakers, panelists, etc will use Hangouts on Air to give their presentations.  We'll see how that goes - please give us feedback if this setup doesn't work for you.

I've created a brief survey to get a better sense of what times of day are good for the greatest number of people, and what topics you'd like to see focused on.  Please fill it out if you're interested in attending these meetups: https://openedx.typeform.com/to/p2Jzv3
