Fellow Open edXers:

I'm pleased to announce that the fifth Open edX release is now available: Eucalyptus.1 is the first release on the Eucalyptus line.

The blog post summarizes the new features. The install instructions will get you started on new installations, the upgrade instructions will help you upgrade your existing Dogwood installations.

If you need help at any point, see the Getting Help page for ways to ask.

We're proud of all the work that went into producing Eucalyptus, we hope you get good use from it! Many thanks to all in the community who contributed, whether it was code, documentation, or testing.
