Eucalyptus is coming

Hey all,

The fifth open release of Open edX is coming: Eucalyptus.  We are a little behind where we wanted to be by now, but we have an estimated schedule.  It's a little tight, especially given summer vacations, but we're going to work hard to meet it:

• First release candidate (rc1): Wed, July 20th
• Second release candidate (rc2): Wed, August 3rd
• Finished Eucalyptus release: Wed, August 10th

We'll be counting on getting feedback on the candidates, so keep your eyes peeled for their announcement.

What will be in Eucalyptus: we are planning to base Eucalyptus on the code that is going to edx.org this week, so it will basically be master as of last Friday. We'll be pulling together Eucalyptus-specific release notes, but for now, here's the history of what has been happening since Dogwood: http://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/edx-release-notes/en/latest/2016/index.html
