How to create custom REST API in open edx.

Is there any way or documentation which can guide me for creating Custom REST API for fetching data from open edX?

Hello Nate, I appreciate you help. I went through the link you gave and was able to get the course details using Course API but, the User API is not working in my case not sure what's the problem.

So is there any additional settings which I need to perform to get the User API working?
