Is custom theming supported in Eucalyptus.2?

Hi,
Tried enabling a custom theme(old style theme, not comprehensive theme) created with earlier named release into Eucalyptus.2. A message indicating that compile assets was being skipped, is shown. Has anyone been able to do this?
