Enter the course on a page different than `info`

Hello all,
we have been working on a particular requirement that allows a course author to define which course page will be used as the landing page once a student clicks on the `View Course` button.
We did this for the Stanford Continual Medical Education, but made it extensible so anyone can use it or configure it differently. There is a somewhat similar, feature in eucalyptus, but it is marked as deprecated since day 1 of creation and it only allows the info and courseware pages to be used.

Im reaching here to the broader community, to see if anyone else has interest in this feature, in order to make it a PR to the upstream repository.
