I have exported a class to an Ubuntu machine, how do I launch a class from the .tar.gz file?

Hi all!

I have downloaded Open edX via bitnami onto a laptop running Ubuntu 12.04.

Everything has installed as it should and works. I managed to get the demo course up and running also as it should. I can create and edit courses online but I would like to be able to host classes locally on a linux server. I can export the classes and get a .tar.gz file on my computer but I do not know where to go from there.

The main question I have is how do I launch a new/existing course from a .tar.gz file on a local Ubuntu machine?
