Course Schedule not available

I am currently trying to schedule my course so that my students can see it. It is my understanding that to do this, you go to Settings>Schedule & Catalog Details and then in the "Course Schedule" section, you enter the start date and time. My issue is this... the "Course Schedule" section does not exist on my Schedule & Catalog Details page, so the course is stuck at the default "January 1, 2030" start date.
