So amazing, its hard to believe this WON'T be useful for something.  But once again, Google is rolling out a new UI concept (named SOLI) and "hoping the developer community will be able to do fantastic things with it...

wow. so many questions - what's the range of detection, what level of library support is there for interpreting what is being seen, etc.

makes me realize, though, that I haven't yet seen any of the amazing educational apps I thought would come with google glass - although I must admit, I haven't exactly been looking either. Have any of you seen anything neat?

There was a poster just recently at CSCL using google glass to engage high school kids in participatory design. It was super interesting and had some potential. The researcher mentioned she was going to continue the work.

Not a total bust.
