Newly Married &. New Pup

Dear Friends and Readers,

I'm sad that the online Cheyenne Post, for which I wrote the essays I've been sending, has folded. I do have a bit of personal good news: Recently, Ronald Garver and I got married. He lives in Saratoga, WY, as I do. The wedding pictures are high-reolution, so I'm attaching only one. I'll send a follow-up with another pic or two.

We spent a few weeks in Texas, where we acquired Wooffie, a border collie mix. She was abandoned near my son's house and ran up their driveway, trying to find another home. Since Walter and his spouse are at work all day, they weren't able to keep the pup from tearing up things, even outdoors, so we brought her home with us. We give her lots of attention along with toys and bones; still, she has chewed on one of Ron's work shoes.

Woofie chewed that work shoe to keep Ron home with his new family! I hate to say it, but the reason shoes get chewed is because shoes aren't put away. Dogs don't chew things that they have no access to, so don't be too mad at her, she's just a puppy! :D
