A CA Graduation

My grandson's high school graduation was a big deal for the boy, his parents, his fellow grads, and (presumably) his school. See attached.

The ceremony took place on the football field. In 98-degree heat, 300+ young people filed in to the student band playing "Pomp and Circumstance" while parents sweated in the bleachers. Luckily, for oldsters like Ron and me, an area shaded by giant umbrellas provided shade. Of course, all this had to be arranged ahead of time—our names were taped to the chairs.
