seeking new Board members

Dear all,

Our annual AGM is coming up in May and we will be holding elections for our Board of Directors. We are looking for 3-4 new Board members. At this stage in our organization we still don't have sufficient funding to hire a team to run the organization so the Board plays a significant role in shaping the ERA. We need enthusiastic, motivated people who have time to invest and creative ideas about how to develop and fund ERA into the organization it has the potential to be. Please respond to this email if you are interested in being a candidate. If you are not sure, please suggest how we could support you to make it possible for you. Hi all,

I forgot to mention that we are especially interested in having women as Board members, since the ones who are leaving are women, me as the only woman left on the Board! Additionally we would love to get more representation from outside of America, since though we are based in the US, we have members from all over the world.

Dear Ananda,

This is to complement my message yesterday : Colombia and Venezuela, in addition to be Andean and Amazonic countries, they are also Caribbean countries seriously affected by climate change together with Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Trinidad-Tobago, Grenada, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Jamaica, other islands and mainly the biggest one : Cuba. All these country-islands are already affected by sea-level rise, stronger hurricanes and other climate change impacts on agriculture, tourism and other activities. ERA´s contribution is called to make a difference.
