Hi all,

One part of our mission at ERA is to change the public narrative about what climate action should be in order to effectively mitigate the worst effects of climate change within a decade. That is why storytellers in our membership are so important. We now have a blog section on our new website: ERA Stories

But we need to keep the stories coming and share them widely on social media. For this we need your help! Please write and submit blog articles to ana...@regenerationcanada.org or to ecorestorat...@gmail.com so that we can keep a steady stream of insightful stories coming.

And whether you are a writer or not, please follow our social media pages and share our stories. Also, if anyone wants to volunteer some time to help with our social media outreach that would be amazing. Let us know.

Thanks for your leadership Ananda.

Here are some story ideas I've been thinking about.  I'm not necessarily the guy to write them, so I hope others will pick up the baton, and add ot the list....

The need for a positive shock doctrine.  (We should to be prepared to swoop in with the right guidance and advice after natural disasters).

Then a series of articles that are cheat sheets for eco-shock mongerers:

Fires:  why, how to avoid, how to repopulate with native ecosystems (not just replant).

Floods, why, how to avoid, how to prevent (turn the soil into a sponge; ecosystems moderate rain)

Storm Surges. (mangroves, wetlands)

Heat Waves (etc.)

My hero, Natalie Topa.

She is a superhero worth profiling.  We have permission to repurpose her countless videos.  It's a nice moment to valorize a Palestinian.

The greatest generation...or not.  

Today's youth will either be empowered to save the future, or be allowed to give up hope and witness  a demoralizing civilizational collapse.

How do we help them fight the good fight and thrive?

"What can we all do together that none of us can do on our own?"  The raison d'etre for the EcoRestoration Alliance.
