Proteins EBI API

Hi !

Hope everything is going well. I was wondering if there is a list or link that contains all the possible information of features types : Example : DOMAIN , or MUTAGEN. maybe with examples of each one. Additionally, I would like to know  if it is possible to retrieve all the uniprot entries that contains this information, leaving out the ones that does not contain any of these annotations.

Yes, we have an endpoint that will only return entries by feature type. See all the details listed below in our documentation page: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/proteins/api/doc

I took a screenshot to show you the endpoint that does what you need.

The list of features is described in the parameter section

Feature type: INIT_MET, SIGNAL, PROPEP, TRANSIT, CHAIN, PEPTIDE, TOPO_DOM, TRANSMEM, DOMAIN, REPEAT, CA_BIND, ZN_FING, DNA_BIND, NP_BIND, REGION, COILED, MOTIF, COMPBIAS, ACT_SITE, METAL, BINDING, SITE, NON_STD, MOD_RES, LIPID, CARBOHYD, DISULFID, CROSSLNK, VAR_SEQ, VARIANT, MUTAGEN, UNSURE, CONFLICT, NON_CONS, NON_TER, HELIX, TURN, STRAND, INTRAMEM
