Support in Brroklyn NY

Hi,
I have a friend with a somewhat complicated family situation and she is invovled with NVC and I mentioned that a dynamically facilitated conversation might bring a sense of understanding for the people involved and restore some much needed peace and harmony. I wonder if there are any DF facilitators in Brooklyn NY who would be willing to have a  look at this...I am sorry but unless I manage some fundraising there is no money involved. But I personally would be happy to knit a pair of socks or a shawl for the person who supports this family :)

Hi Natalia,

I don’t know a DF'er I can recommend in the area.  …But this is a great idea. … Just for you to mention this possibility of helping a family through DF’ing on this listserve. It would certainly help the family. It would also be a great way for DF’ers to gain vital practice opportunities.  Working with families is so rewarding. 

I wish we had a way to keep track of DF’ers in different areas. I’m talking with Dan Ferstenberg who is setting up a portal for the Wisdom Council in North Carolina. Maybe it’s easy to create a map of the world where DF’ers put themselves on the map as volunteers and professionals. And he or someone crewe and manage do that.
