No showing thumbnails on DSpace 7.6

Hello,

I am still new to DSpace 7. After installing DSpace 7.6, now the thumbnails are not displayed on the home page as well as in any pages though we have images. How can I figure out this issue? Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello Kim,

For them to be displayed, you should go to processes and run a process called filter-media. When it's done running, all the thumbnails will show up!

Hello Emilia,

Yes it can be executed. 

For the PDF, the thumbnails are generated the same way, just by running the filter media process.

It is also possible to upload your own thumbnail for the item if you wish.  This can be done by editing the item,select the bitstreams tab and on the section that shows BUNDLE:THUMBNAIL you can upload the tumbnail of your choosing.
