OOM error while restoring AIP

Hi,
Can somebody recommend how much memory would be needed to restore a sitewide AIP backup which is of 34GiB in size. I tried by allocating 45GiB memory as heap, but it failed with OOM error. Is there any alternative way to restore without increasing the RAM?
