Unable to delete community and its collection on DSpace 7.6

Hi All,

I once mapped collection to other new collection on DSpace, but now I removed the mapping, I am struggling to delete collection or even community, the authorizations on both community and collection are deleted, still unable to delete collection. Is there any alternative way to force deletion of collection or community on DSPace7.6

Hi Lewatle,

An Administrator should be able to delete the Community/Collection.  If they are unable to do so, you will need to look for possible error messages.  The error messages should give you details regarding why the deletion is failing.  See our troubleshooting guide for help finding the error messages: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error#Troubleshootanerror-DSpace7.x(orabove)
