HI,

I am migrating one Dspace installation from 5.x to 6.3 (server changed).

But "dspace filter-media" command is running for days. It takes one cpu core 100% load. I increases java XMX value to 16G but not much performance improvement. on average 1 file is checked per second.

Is there any way to improve the timing of this step. Is parallel running of this possible. I have 31 more cpu cores remaining idle.
