Space 7.3 harvesting bitstream references via OAI

Greetings!

I have installed dosage 7.3 and have been able to import items from our Koha catalog via OAI content harvesting.  This works well to import our catalogued theses, but I am having trouble harvesting the references to the bitstream (e.g. PDF of the actual thesis).

When selecting "Harvest Metadata Only" everything works, but my bitstreams are not registered.  If I select "Harvest metadata and references to bitstreams", an error is returned via the console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 422 () https://MYURL/server/api/core/collections/14738e1c-0b79-440f-b8dc-af91dd386428/harvester.  How do I get past this?

Here are the details of our setup:

Koha server with theses catalogued using MARC

Koha OAI server with Dublin core converted metadata - (Thesis location encoded as dc.description)

Dspace 7.3 server harvesting from Koha OAI server (dc.description with url references does appear in the item details)

Do I need to encode my bitstream location in a particular way so that Dspace understands where to find the bitstream?
