DSpace 7 installation login failed

Hello Everybody, I have been using my local machine/laptop for installing DSpace 7 over Ubuntu 20.04 along with openjdk-11-jdk,Maven 3.6.3,solr-8.9.0,ant_1.10.7.and Tomcat/10.0.10.

Here the settings for local.cfg

dspace.server.url = http://localhost:8080/server
dspace.ui.url = http://localhost:4000

#solr.server = http://localhost:8983/solr

#rest.cors.allowed-origins = ${dspace.ui.url}

DSpace builds successfully and I want to browse the  back end/solr  over http://localhost:8080/server/ and  shows me..

The HAL Browser

• Go To Entry Point
• About The HAL Browser
• Login

what shall I do to login to the page or browsing the page without login.

Hi Jaware,

I had the same issue and for me it was likely caused by having two different versions of openjdk installed.

However, in your case I think it might be that you're using Tomcat 10. The installation instructions specify Tomcat version 9. You might want to try uninstalling Tomcat 10 and install Tomcat 9.
