DSPACE 6.3: CUSTOMIZE CHANGE PASSWORD RESET REQUEST EMAIL COMPOSITION - CHANGE CHARACTERS IN THE EMAIL SENT FROM DSPACE

Greetings,

I kindly request help on customizing the default email address sent from Dspace 6.3 when a user initiates a CHANGE PASSWORD REQUEST or when a user gets a feedback from Dspace 6.3 system.

Here is the default email content 

"To change the password for your DSpace account, please click the link

below:

  http://192.168.0.8:8080/jspui/forgot?token=a015d49aaf5e9636ea68fd5f6ae8b925

If you need assistance with your account, please email

dspac...@myu.edu or call us at xxx-555-xxxx.

The DSpace Team"

Kindly assist me on how to address this challange. Thank you

Hello,

all the email templates can be found here in the
[dspace-src]/config/emails folder:

The change password is here
https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/dspace-6.3/dspace/config/emails/change_password#L14

Best go through all the email templates and adjust them especially with
the email and so on.

It helps, Thank you so much. I am able to customize the emails now.

However I have issue configuring email services using gmail on the Ubuntu Server. I have Dspace 6.3 installed on an Ubuntu Server and another installed on Windows 10 OS. The email services works perfectly fine on the Dspace installed on Windows 10 OS however the one installed  on Ubuntu Server 15.05 does not work. Can you assist me on this too?

Both Dspace application has the same Dspace.cfg file and configurations.
