Hi! It's really difficult that someone can provide help with this little information. I'm not really qualified to help you, but I can recommend you to at least describe what OS, tomcat, java an database version you are using. You should also look at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error#Troubleshootanerror-DSpace7.x(orabove) and try to find the underlying problem so it's easier for someone to figure out whats going on.

Agustín.

"file upload failed" doesn't tell us much at all. HOW did it fail?

o Did you get an error message? what did it say?
Please quote the whole message precisely.

o Did it do something, but not what you expected? What did it do?

I have installed Dspace7.3 on Ubuntu 22.04.
Apache Ant 1.10.12, Apache maven 3.6.3, Java 11.0.16, PostgreSQL 14.2, Apache tomcat 9.

When I am trying to add community & logo for community, I got error "Uploading community logo failed".

Hope this information is enough to understand my issue and help you to provide a solution asap.

Hi,

Unfortunately, that's not enough information for anyone to help you.  The errors that are displayed in the User Interface are generic errors that do not tell us why that action failed.  You must follow our troubleshooting guide to figure out the underlying error message: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error#Troubleshootanerror-DSpace7.x(orabove)

Until you find the underlying error message, it's not possible to help determine why you cannot add a logo.  It could be a configuration issue, a permissions issue, and out-of-disk-space issue, or many other underlying problems. The only way to determine the cause would be to find that underlying error message.

Once you find it, if you cannot figure out a fix, you can send that underlying error message to this mailing list for more help.

Tim
