Tracking file downloads in Google Analytics

Greetings to all. Recently, I connected Google Analytics to the repository and noticed a strange thing, that Thumbnails ,displayed in the repository, are also counted as file downloads in google events. Is it possible to fix it somehow? Thanks for the answer.

Hi,

This sounds like this recently reported bug: https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/issues/8938

I've pulled this over to the 7.6.x maintenance board & am looking for a volunteer to help fix it. Hopefully we'll find a quick fix soon.
